Illuminated Particle Systems

Particles are illuminated by setting their datablock property allowLighting to true (TLK uses sgAllowLighting).

Particle illumination is globally disabled by setting the pref
$pref::LightManager::sgDynamicParticleSystemLighting to false
(TLK uses $pref::OpenGL::sgDynamicParticleSystemLighting).
