Layer Management Rollout
Description
The Layer Management rollout is used to selectively show, hide, lock, unlock, and set the sort method for each layer within the scene.
Usage
You can modify this object through the Edit Pane. The Layer Management rollout is only available when there are no scene objects selected within the viewport.
Layer #: Identifies layer being edited.
Show/Hide Layer: Hides or shows all scene objects which are within this layer
Lock/Unlock Layer: Locks an entire scene layer. When locked, scene objects within this layer cannot be selected or modified.
Layer Sort Method: Specifies the rule for how scene objects within the same layer are ordered. When set to –Y Axis, then a scene object with a lower Y axis position value (positioned above) will appear on top. When set to X Axis, then a scene object with a greater X axis position (positioned to the right) will appear on top. By default, resolving scene object position is based on the center of the scene object.
